General questions are always welcome via my email if you can’t find them answered here on my website or if you have any questions before submitting a booking form.

TATTOO PRICING/PAYMENT/DEPOSIT:

PRICING: My hourly rate is $180/HR with a $250 minimum.

One session projects might have a flat rate depending on design. I tattoo fast, so I tend to get a lot done quickly. A pricing/time estimate is always discussed in the consultation or before the tattoo.

In person Consultations are preferred, however I can sometimes accommodate email consults depending on the project or if you are an out of town client.

PAYMENT: CASH PREFERRED and Venmo/Zelle acceptable as well. Payment might vary depending on the shop I’m at when traveling, so please ask ahead to be prepared.

DEPOSIT: A $100+ Deposit is always required to book any tattoo appointment. Deposits are NON Refundable. No exceptions. If you are booking multiple appointments, a $100 Deposit is required for each session booked. Your deposit is credited toward the final tattoo price/session unless:

You fail to show up for your appointment. You are more than 15 minutes late to your appointment with no notice. You reschedule with less than 48 hrs notice. You are allowed ONE reschedule per deposit (with at least 48hrs notice). Deposits are valid for one year from date left and non-transferrable. Deposit is only good for design discussed/agreed upon and person it was left for.

I do not email sketches/drawings. Drawings are viewed on the day of appointment and any changes if needed can be made then. We discuss the design thoroughly in the consultation so that I can get your design right. It is no problem to make small changes/additions when you come in however! I do sometimes send rough sketches for guest spots, but my schedule might not always allow.

If you have any other questions about your deposit, please ask before leaving one.

TATTOO HEALING:

This is my advice for my tattoos, so please follow and ask any questions if needed.

Leave bandage on over night. With full color tattoos, there can be a good amount of plasma, so leaving the bandage on over night not only protects the open wound, but helps soak up and use some of your plasma for healing purposes. The morning after your tattoo, take bandage off and wash your tattoo with a gentle soap and warm water. Please make sure your hands are clean every time you touch your tattoo. Wash tattoo 2-3 times a day and apply unscented lotion 2-3 x a day. Do not use any ointments or balms not approved by me please. Some have harsh ingredients that can pull color out. For Vegan friendly lotion, I like Raw Sugar brand. Just make sure you get the Oatmeal Sensitive Skin one, or low scent/unscented. You can also use coconut oil (very sparingly) or a balm called Tattoo Lovers Care. Keep tattoo clean and do not pick or scratch at it. Do not wear constricting/tight clothing over your tattoo, it needs to breathe.

I do not usually recommend Saniderm (Clear sticky bandage) for color tattoos, but if you’d like to use it, please do so at your own risk and ask me how to apply/use if needed.

WHAT NOT TO DO AFTER GETTING A TATTOO:

During the tattoo healing process (10-14 days), NO sun, pools, jacuzzi, lake water, ocean, sauna, steam room, etc. Showering is okay, but do not soak or scrub your tattoo with anything abrasive. Avoid heavy workouts/stretches/sweating as this can irritate the tattoo. Avoid restricting clothing or jewelry over the healing area. You are healing an open wound, so please treat it as such. NO picking, scratching, or soaking during healing. Do not let other people touch your healing tattoo. Let the flakes fall off naturally. Do not use sun screen until after 2 weeks of healing. Then I recommend sun screen every day to keep your colors bright.

TOUCH UP POLICY:

I offer one free touch up per tattoo IF you follow aftercare instructions given. The touch up must be booked within 3 months of healing/original tattoo date.

The touch up is free of charge unless you do not care for your tattoo as explained. You do not need a touch up if the tattoo healed properly and did not lose any color. Changing colors or adding things to the tattoo are not considered a free touch up. After the three month period, my minimum charge or more will be required for the touch up due to color blending etc. You should not need a touch up if the tattoo is properly cared for, so please follow all instructions carefully. If you have any questions about healing before or during the process, Please email me. I’m always happy to help and of course want us both to be happy with the final piece! One thing I can’t stress enough is to wear sunscreen AFTER the two week healing process. Sun exposure will fade color over time. All of the inks and ointment I use during the tattoo are all Vegan friendly.
